The KTS Support Line has been established to assist with changes under Keep Them Safe (KTS). The KTS Support Line is in operation from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

NSW Online Mandatory Reporter Guide (MRG)

From 24 January 2010 mandatory reporters are encouraged to use the Online Mandatory Reporter Guide, to guide decision making, about whether or not a report to the Child Protection Helpline is appropriate under the new risk of significant harm reporting threshold.

Unpacking listening: language, silence and spaces – Conference Scholarships

The Institute of Early Childhood at Macquarie University and Semann & Slattery are pleased to announce Unpacking listening: language, silence and spaces – Friday 12 and Saturday 13 March 2010.

Children’s Services Central is offering sponsored positions for 5 children’s services staff (1 metropolitan delegate, 2 rural and remote delegates, 2 delegates working in an Aboriginal specific program) the 5 sponsored positions will cover registration costs and travel and accommodation for non-metropolitan delegates.

EYLF Comprehensive 3-hour training in 2010

In 2010 comprehensive professional learning  on the Early Years Learning Framework will be rolled out by Children’s Services Central professional support providers across all regions of NSW. Thank you to the early childhood professionals who responded to our online survey and also to those who made themselves available for interview. This information has contributed to our plans for professional support and development and will inform our work on the EYLF in 2010.
