Professional Support Service Providers (PSSPs)

Professional Support Services Providers deliver professional development, through training, resources, support and advice.

What are Professional Support Service Providers?

Professional Support Service Providers (PSSPs) deliver professional development, training, resources, support and advice to staff and management of eligible child care services, Inclusion Support Facilitators and Bicultural Support Workers. They are subcontracted by Children’s Services Central to deliver the programs.

How do I become a PSSP?

A PSSP must first be an approved Preferred Provider. An organisation may submit an Expression of Interest and this is evaluated by the Children’s Services Central Committee. Following a successful evaluation an organisation is included on a list of Preferred Providers and may be offered the opportunity to tender for projects and to provide professional support. If a Preferred Provider is awarded a contract the organisation becomes a Professional Support Service Provider.

Proposal for Unique and Innovative Professional Development and Support

Children’s Services Central is interested in receiving unique and innovative professional development proposals. Proposals are evaluated by the Children’s Services Central Committee.
