Introduction
Our goal is to:
- promote and maintain high quality care and inclusion for all children in eligible child care services in New South Wales, by increasing the skill level of carers and service staff in line with nationally consistent principles; and
- provide all children’s services in New South Wales, with access to quality professional support that is relevant, appropriate and timely.
Children's Services Central is the provider of professional
support and training to children’s services in New South Wales. Children's
Services Central has been funded under the Inclusion and Professional
Support Program (IPSP).
Who can use the services?
Child care services in New South Wales that are Australian Government
approved childcare services including:
- community-based and private long day care;
- outside school hours care, including vacation care;
- family day care;
- occasional care;
- in-home care;
- flexible/multifunctional services;
- non-mainstream outside school hours care;
- non-formula funded occasional care;
- and mobile child care services.
