Children’s Services Central is the Professional Support Coordinator in New South Wales and is an initiative funded by the Australian Government under the Inclusion and Professional Support Program. Children’s Services Central is managed by a consortium of key organisations that resource and support education and care services in New South Wales.
Children’s Services Central provides professional development to eligible education and care services to support them to understand and meet the requirements of the National Quality Standard, and to implement approved learning frameworks; including the Early Years Learning Framework and the Framework for School Age Care – My Time, Our Place.

Who can access our professional development and support?
Education and care services in New South Wales that are Australian Government Approved Child Care Services (AGACCS) including:
- community-based and private long day care;
- outside school hours care, including vacation care;
- family day care;
- occasional care;
- in-home care;
- flexible/multifunctional services;
- non-mainstream outside school hours care;
- non-formula funded occasional care; and
- mobile child care services.
